Jeffrey de Haan was born in Rotterdam in 1999 and currently resides in Barendrecht. He joined the organisation as a Communications Advisor in September 2025.
Prior to this, he completed an accelerated MBO programme in Media Design at Da Vinci College in Dordrecht, followed by an HBO programme in Communication and Multimedia Design at Avans University of Applied Sciences in Breda.

My name is Jeffrey de Haan and I would call myself a true designer. I have now completed two courses focused on design and I really enjoy doing this. I have worked extensively with graphic design, video and photography, web design and HTML/CSS, but I also have broader knowledge of research and design methods, coding and AI.

What I like most about the job is that it is so varied. It is more than just creating graphic designs or maintaining social media. It is the complete package to ensure that the company looks neat and tidy, both internally and externally. The variety of this sometimes requires a bit of switching gears, but the variety and different knowledge and skills are what make me very happy.
“Imperfection brings beauty”
Outside of work, I spend a lot of time on my computer and outdoors. On my computer, I usually play games with friends, tinker around in Blender, or maintain my NAS. Outdoors, I can often be found with my camera. I love taking photos of everything, especially nature, architecture, and the stars. Although the stars have been the most difficult technical challenge so far, I would say that it doesn’t look too bad with my beginner’s equipment.
